Hi all - I'm sure I read somewhere and now I can't seem to find it, but, when winding the rear piston in (clockwise) is there a correct orientation that the piston should be wound back to? I can't quite remember what I read now, but is it something to do with the groove / V has to be at the 12 o'clock? Any help much appreciated. Just getting things ready in my head for when I eventually do the discs and pads. Front's I'm all OK with as I did pad swaps on my 595 which had Brembo's up front too. Just don't want to mess the rears up.

Oh - Whilst i think on, where is the handbrake adjustment and what should the gap be again? Is it easy to get to whilst the car is on stands?

Thanks.

Manual says gap at thr rear caliper should be 1 mm. Adjustment is more or less where the resonator is (under the car, above the exhaust).

Also :

"Make sure the notch on the piston is aligned with the pin on the inboard brake pad before installing the
brake caliper. A moderate to heavy force toward the caliper piston must be applied. If sufficient force is not
applied, the internal park brake mechanism clutch cone will not engage and the piston will not compress."

If you pad backers have the pins like the stock ones, then the bowtie will be horizontal. If they are flat w/ no pins, it doesn’t matter.
