Well I get the fact that it goes red near redline, but is there a reason mine doesn't? Is that only a part of the PP?

im interested in this shift light feature as well. I have a base GT, was this a premium thing on the 10-14s?

I do believe it was a Premium feature. My 2011 is a Premium and the tach turns red like the video.
