quick e brake help

before I put it all together after some servicing my e brake has a little play in the handle . It does not look like the post s I ve seen with the bolt with the nut. It s kinda al sealed and I can see 2 cables come out to rear. There are some springs and stuff I don t know about on the caliper. If anyone has a quick answer and picture please post . Brake fluid, Oil, cleaning caliper, checking brakes.... Thanks

Got it. FYI, Is is like the pictures other than the pictures are a cut away. You can t see the nut, just a hole to put the socket thru. I was able to turn the nut without using the wrench, just the socket and long extension. Now the light comes on in two clicks instead of a few inches of play first.

Adjusted the e brake, oil change, brake fluid change, checked brake pad life, clean calipers all together.

The adjustment is above the drive shaft in the transmission tunnel. 10 mm nut

thanks @TonyNJ. I found it but because that s a cutaway picture I was confused looking. If I had your lift it would have been 5 mins, LOL.

Let us know if you lose the new adjustment setting. I just adjusted mine and lost the setting the same day. Perhaps I should put a jam nut on it to prevent losing the adjustment.

At the end of the cable the arm that rotates and forces the pad to the rotor is not returning all the way after you release the brake handle which is giving you the slack. I had to replace the calipers to fix the problem.
