I'm not familiar with running a tire with such a small diameter or a 0 offset. The sites above might help.

The offset for the width concerns me.

IMO, in the front, +0 offset would most likely hit the fender lip and/or poke. +0 would also leave a rather large area of wasted space near the suspension.

Front: 19x10.5, +24. 305/30/19. .5 inch / 12.7mm poke.
Front: 19x10, +35. 285/35/19. Flush. Maybe a slight gap.

In the rear, offsets of +35-50 are not uncommon; +0 would cause even more of a problem in the rear.

Rear: 19x11, +52. 315/30/19. Flush
Rear: 19x10, +35. 285/35/19. Flush

Finally, I'm not sure it'd help the car's road handling, pushing the wheels outward.

The rims you speak of, they are an older set, or a used set you're trying to salvage?

Thanks for the clarification. I can understand the diameter now. I'll let others speak to those and their setup.

so would 315/30r19 look weird with being a low profile tire on a stock height s550?

I don't think so. The 19x10.5 and 19x11 I reference: those are factory rim/tire sizes. There's a height gap, sure, but IMO, it's not off-putting. Many do lower their cars, front and rear, to enhance performance and appearance.

I only have direct experience with the sizes I referenced. Some do run a 19 front and 20 rear setup. Thread is still young. As the day the and the topic progresses, those with more experience can chime in.

Two things you could do:

1. Provide us with insight as to what your objective is. You referenced 17" rims and later we discussed 19s and maybe 20s. Trying to better appearance? Performance? Both? Drag use? Street use? Just a good idea what you're wanting to accomplish. Reads like you've got an initial find of 17s you're trying to use, but if you can buy new, maybe something more tailored to your needs?

2. There are probably as many threads on rims and tires as there are people. LOL. You can use the search above, or Google. Most often, when using Google and referencing Mustangs, 6G strikes well. The other threads will give you insight into what others have done with rims, tires and offsets.

When initially researching the topic for my needs, I spent a good day or two reading threads, cut-and-pasting insight into a simple text file I could then go back to. Your solution has most likely been done before, in more ways you can imagine.

Forget about height - think of tire diameter as it affects your final drive ratio and what your speedometer is going to show - and overall fitment in the wheel well.

0 mm offset wheel will stick out probably 2 or so inches outside the car, also 17" wheels will likely not fit over front brakes. Terrible idea.
305/30R19 and 315/30R19 looks just fine. I had probably ~8 sets of tires in this size.

well i was gonna go drag pack in the rear with a 17x10 but i found a set of 20x11’s i like i just want it to look good and fit perfect at the same time. i don’t want the tire to be too small and have to buy new tires. so for 11 wide ima have to go with something like a 315/35r20?

315/35R20 has 28.7" diameter, your stock rear tire diameter is 27". It's much bigger and thicker tire (remember 35 is a profile, not an absolute number).
