My eco vert was built on 2/4/15. I do believe this falls right into the group that is having the heat shield problems. But when I go to the Ford Owners website and sign in to check for a recall on my car, it says there are none.
I would like the opinions of you folks here that have been affected by the recall. Can I trust the Ford owners site to give me the correct info? My car was one of the ones that were being held in February for quite a long time. Do you think it may have been fixed then?
I would just like to feel confident that this is not an issue with my car, but I am not sure what else I can do but to trust Ford to tell me the truth on their site. Any other suggestions? Have the dealer check it I guess would be a good idea huh?

Well my car was part of the recall and not only was it listed on the ford owner site, I rec'd a recall notice in the mail a month ago. I recon any dealer could look it up or you could call customer service, but I'd think you are good.

It will take the dealer 2 minutes to check it with your VIN.
