I was thinking about having my factory blower ported. The two places I know of the do these mods are Kong and Jokerz. Why is Jokerz so much more expensive? What would be your guys choice and why? Also if their are any other options please share.

Thnaks in advance Guys

Ultimately to make HP, but with that being said. Making just a few more HP, if in fact thats even the case for over double the money doesn't make much sense to do. So, how about HP/value for the money.

Both are pretty reputable companies from everything I've heard. I can't fathom why one would cost twice as much as the other...but I do see most people on youtube and the forums going with Jokerz over Kong..

If I was wanting more hp out of my 500 I’d decide what level I was shooting for. From there I‘d take the path of least resistance. A pulley change and tune yields pretty good results. Obviously depending on how turned up you want it. I’d go after the external stuff and easily back to stock first before I went in to the engine. It doesn’t take much with these cars. The two companies you referenced are 1600 and 1275 from what I found. So that’s pretty close in price actually. Me personally I’d rather buy a takeoff and port that before I‘d port what came on the car. I get the cost side of stuff but I’ve always liked putting my cars back to oem if I ever wanted to.

Jokerz just increased their prices, mainly due to inflation. But, that being said, Brett at Jokerz has been porting SCs forever and has it down to a science. It’s not simple as “grinding this smooth, and taking some material away here”. He knows what does and doesn’t work, and he backs up his work with real world results. Feel free to call him, he can talk your ear off about why his service is better. I have his full tilt port on my car and he was awesome to work with.
