I purchased my phase 1 Roush Kit from LMR when they had their July 4th sale last year. Paid $6599. And since they are in Texas I paid no tax at the time. Keep in mind I’m in NY so dealers are total ripoffs. Levittown Ford wanted $4,500 to do the OPG’s and Blower. Sayville Ford came in at $3600 or $3900 I can’t remember exactly. I laughed at both of the mangers, like physically laughed over the phone. There are a few speed shops here as well, Mustang Magic and Real Speed. I went with Real Speed and the total Install with tax came out to $2750 for the OPG’s and blower, and oil change. I paid $525 for the phase 2 tune and $250 for the install and 5 dyno runs.

Curious are u running the VMP 3 pass HE, or an ice tank wit your setup?

Any passes on just boost?

Very impressive
I have the VMP 3 pass w/ fans. It doesn't seem to make a difference as far as it still runs about 40 over ambient around town. But I can make pass after pass and my IAT’s stay right in line. By the time I exited the track on the runs posted, I was already back down to sub 120.
Without spray, it runs low 10’s. 10.20 or so is the best if I recall right.

If you don't want to wait for a sale on the kit, call Terry Reeves at Beefcake Racing as Stymee suggested.

Phase 2 got delivered yesterday for me.

If I swap out the ltr's today, it's not going to hurt anything until I get the pcm flashed right?

Lots of guys are running the new ltr with the phase 1 tune. No problem at all.

congrats on that 150! You really show what this kit can do after the warranty runs out. Also, My old 2.9 Whipple (I/C on bottom) 2013 BOSS 302 had high IAT’s/heat soak constantly. Didn’t mean anything...still ran like a raped ape.

No not at all. Are you sure you don’t have the larger one installed already? I was running the phase one, had it installed 8/19. It already came with the larger LTR. When I called Roush they said the larger LTR’s were being sent out with the phase ones since may of 2019.

Below is what the installation instructions says about flashing the tune. The RDT-CALIM manual is available online as a pdf.

PCM FLASHING
1. If equipped with a SAE J2534 pass through device,
refer to the RDT-CALIM manual found on our website.
The RDT-CALIM manual will guide you through the
ROUSH Diagnostic Tool (RDT) software installation
process and the ROUSH PCM fl ashing procedure.
Thank you!!

from what I understand the fans really only help when the car is sitting between runs. Good times btw.

He is seeing what VMP told me, about a 10-15 degree drop w/quick return to IAT2

In PA the early spring, fall and winter tends to be pretty cool vs FL/AZ & even TX, if I did put one of VMP HE I’d opt for no fans but it’s not cheap

It looks like tuning is your best dollar value when looking at max ET, the potentials there for sure

The new Roush HE still seems awfully small. This seems like a case where bigger would be better.

Time will tell, for sure if I could upgrade to the non fan VMP and I may try one down the road?

A guy on here had a custom unit made for his EB and it’s better than the supplied EB HE...

Retail on the non fan unit is around $500, correct? I wonder if it would be direct replacement for the Roush unit or would a lot of modification be required?
