I have the VMP 3 pass w/ fans. It doesn't seem to make a difference as far as it still runs about 40 over ambient around town. But I can make pass after pass and my IAT’s stay right in line. By the time I exited the track on the runs posted, I was already back down to sub 120.
Without spray...
I went to the strip tonight with two goals, 9.5 & 150. I got the 150 but just missed on the 9.5. But I’m starting to think I might just have a bracket car.
2018 Roush w/ Fore 1L fuel system, PBD E85 tune, 2.9 VMP pulley, and 100 wet shot.
The hate on 18’+ Roush’s extends beyond the internet. Almost every time I go to the strip, I see guys looking at my car with the hood up and roll their eyes and whisper some type of snide remark to their buddy. And then after a trip or two down the 1/4 in the 9’s, they’ll circle back and ask how...
Yea I run the E85 only tune most of the time. Especially when its cooler. Kill mode with the spray is nuts in sub 80 degree weather. It will go sideways from 70+ with 315 DR’s. And I run E85 exclusively. I haven't put a drop of 93 in it in over a year. As far as the install, I left that to a...
I have a very similar setup, including the 100 wet shot. Its not a one and done. All I have for aded cooling is the VMP triple pass HE and I have made three 9 second passes consecutively with less than 10 minutes in between each. And that was in roughly 80 degree air.
Yes 10.80 was exactly what I ran on 93. But that was also on a PBD tune. I was one of the first to have the '18 system, so I had the crappy tune and all the bugs we were dealing with back then.
In case anyone is wondering what the full potential of these systems are, I have what I consider to be a near max effort 2018 Roush car with a factory sealed engine. This isn't meant as a brag, but rather show what it takes in mods to keep up with the edelbrock & whipple systems. Roush is...
I have an '18 Roush and when I dyno'd with E85, fuel system, 1050x injectors, 2.9 pulley, and PBD tune I was 765/ 670. Adding the VMP triple pass HE with fans has helped IAT's some. But that can still be problematic in the Texas heat. As far as pulleys, I've found that the 2.8 & 2.7 pulleys...
This was my run Friday night in my 2018 GT with 2.65 Roush, Fore Fuel system, E85, PBD tune, and 100 shot N2O. This was on VMS wheels w/ ET Street R's and skinnies up front.

11.4 at 122 on the Roush tune was best I could get....and that was in decent air for Houston. You will learn that the Roush tune pretty much sucks. NA cars are getting into the 10's pretty regularly now, which makes these numbers almost embarrassing for Roush. The PBD tune and E-85 with Fore...
I have the 2018 Roush system, and yes the throttle body seems to be the biggest limiting factor. I haven't really done anything to increase boost....yet. Especially considering that other than a slightly smaller (2.9" vs 3") pulley offered from VMP, there's not much on the market for these yet...
I’m not sure if everyone is getting jerked around by Roush, but I know that my dealer and I certainly are. I’ve been told twice when the parts were to arrive and neither time it happened. As of today, they still havent been recieved. In fact Roush failed to even send a tracking number after it...
