This is the spoiler that I want to put on my car, but unsure about the quality. I don't like the screws going into it versus it having studs. Is it any good and if not, is there a better one ?

I have purchased 3 different spoilers by now. Save yourself the headache and don't go cheap. Buy OEM. Better paint quality is the main thing and also, they fit and install easier.

100% this. You buy a cheap one now, then realize it’s no where near as good as the real deal, then you buy the real deal. Save the money and buy the real deal one now.

I can't speak to the quality of the MP concepts, but I did buy and install the SpeedForm GT350 style spoiler on mine. I bought it during the memorial day american muscle sale and got it for $120. The paint is actually quite good and the fitment is perfect. I liked the speed form because it was the closest you could get to the real deal, just not the $500+ is costs from Ford. After I applied the ceramic coat to it like the rest of my car is you honestly cannot tell the wing is not the ford performance version.

The biggest thing is just inspect the wing once you get it. If its not perfect on inspection then don't install it on your car, return it and get your money back.

Buy the real one from Ford if you are worried about quality, that’s what I did. Not installed yet because I really like the factory non HP rear spoiler.

I purchased an Anderson Composites "shwing" (with Gurney flap) and couldn't be happier with quality and fitment

Thanks for the suggestions. I ordered the factory one. $619.00 delivered. oh well, gotta pay to play I guess. :)
God that's a lot of money for some plastic. I could have bought the MP concepts and had it professionally painted for cheaper. Or bought the speed form that I have, the steeda k member brace, and the steeda sway bar...and still be under.

Not saying the spoiler isn't going to be good, but I would never pay that much for something that the "knock offs" are pretty dang close to.

Cheers :)

People who can’t tell the difference don’t have the real one, as soon as you get the real one you can tell the difference and it’s worth it.

Exactly. If you are OCD, you will understand.

The only difference to the "knock off" spoiler and the real one is my little wings on the outer edges come all the way to the side of the car, the real one stops just short of the body line. In my opinion this is the way it should have been.

Otherwise the paint is a perfect match and the quality is excellent. So, if you want to go spend 4 times what I did for the same plastic and slightly shorter outer fins then be my guest. Whatever floats your boat :like: I just can't justify that for something that provides only cosmetic changes.

I have that one and it looks great, added a zl1 addons wickerbill to it too. Definitely worth it to not spend over 100 bucks for a spoiler lol

That is great and all. but most don't care, 600 bucks for a Ford part # and the Ford "pro's" to tell you that isn't original to your car. So really If you want to pay for the Ford part # stamped on a outside suppliers part. have at it.
People worrying about perfect fit and finish on a spoiler when Fords panel fit in finish is garbage is comic GOLD!
