Shadow, that reminds me the one I got from amazon, did not come with mounting hardware. The stock spoiler has studs that come off of it, the one I got had helicoils in it and I used some stainless steel bolts and washers to fasten it.

Oohhh. I was afraid of that. Im pretty sure mine will be coming without mounting hardware aswell. As long as it has those helicoils inserted I should be ok right ? Just gotta get some bolts to insert. Your spoiler looks good btw

I think the general consensus is that the cheaply made Ebay spoilers will sag and or rattle.
How's it going to rattle if its properly installed? There is nothing to rattle.

Did your Mustang have that small rear lip spoiler? Cause I am wanting the same spoiler you now have but im wondering if I have to drill holes and if it will match up to the existing holes when I remove that small lip spoiler....

Shadow that is correct, like I said I didn’t use the 3m tape they provide I bought some branded 3m, and 4 stainless bolts and washers. Also to note the factory spoiler has 2 non threaded studs on it that they use for alignment purpose, my replacement spoiler did not have these so used some silicone to fill those 2 holes and let it cure before I installed to keep any water that may get under from having an open hole to get into the trunk lid. I think this was more my ocd over thinking things.
Bolts were 6mmx10 and I think I used 2-3 washers on each to make up any extra length and some blue locktite.
Good luck install was really easy, removing the old spoiler was a pain in the ass.

JimsFury, the hole pattern was exact on mine i had the factory blade spoiler, I didn’t have to drill any holes it all lined right up
Mine is a gt350 look alike spoiler, I very happy with it.

Thanks for being specific. This will help me out for sure. My car does not have a spoiler so looks like Im going to have to drill. Thanks again for the info

Purchased my track pack spoiler from the Spoiler company on ebay. It came painted and as far as quality and fitment it was spot on. Removed the original spoiler and all the holes lined up perfectly. Paint was very good also. I would highly recommend.

I bought the Ikon Motorsports Trak Pak spoiler on ebay. It was a little over $200, but I had 15% off, so less than $200 total. I did a lot of research and settled on Ikon as good quality. Shipped from CA to MD the 1st 1 that came had a smashed end. They were great about it - I sent pics and within a day they shipped another. Second spoiler arrived with a slightly less smashed end. They wanted to give a partial refund and have me get it fixed locally, but I opted for full refund. They sent me a label to return it. I can't complain about the service I got from Ikon at all. Their packing wasn't up to cross country UPS treatment.

I ended up buying the genuine Ford part for quite a bit more money. Cheapest I could find it was on ebay for $417.95. I waited for another 15% off deal and bought it. Seller is Portsmouth Ford in Portsmouth, NH. 1 end of the box was damaged, but the spoiler was unscathed.

1 big difference I didn't realize is if you don't have a factory spoiler the Ford version requires drilling 9 holes, 3 separate sizes. The Ikon was 4 bolt holes only. The Ford part comes with a really nice pattern to locate the holes. Extreme pucker factor when the drill came out!

JimsFury, it was!
There are a bunch of YouTube videos about removing it they all are about the same. Basic run through is.
Pull down the trunk lid liner = easy
Remove the plugs from trunk lid = easy
Remove nuts from factory spoiler.....do not drop them inside the trunk lid= easy
Getting the spoiler off the trunk lid, lift up firmly on one side to break the tape free so you can run some fishing line under it and use it to saw back and forth along the tape to break it’s mighty grip.
Note in the videos that there are a couple of studs that you need to work around and fish it back under to keep going. A bit of prying and firm lifting help. Take your time and you will be good.
I will say becareful how hard and fast you pull the fishing line you are creating heat and you put marks in the clear coat (most likely on the lip of the trunk lid, keep the line straight out and not pullled down towards the lid and you will be good )
Also the plastic pry bars work good as wedges if your working along, but be careful the trunk lid does dent fairly easy (don’t ask how I know this, I was lucky as it was small and hidden under the spoiler and it doesn’t show at all)
Getting the tape residue off looks like a mess when you pull the spoiler off, but really using your finger it willl just slowly roll up of the lid fairly easy, ( it looks like you just created a disaster when you first see it.....lol)
It really not all that hard, so much as time consuming and slow going. Mine broke free fairly easy but then the tape just didn’t want to let go.
Sorry for being so long, but if I had known some of this stuff, it would have made my experience doing it more enjoyable.
