My paint is it decent condition, but I would like to repaint it the same color (Magnetic Metallic), but with EXTRA "bass boat" style metallic. Where should I be looking? A body shop or more of a custom shop?

Is a same-color repaint much easier than actually changing the colors? Should I paint the wheels the same color while it's at the paint shop?

What should I expect to pay, ballpark?

Should I just wrap it instead?

I did a decent amount of searching with no luck for repaints on this forum. Thanks in advance.

Talk to the owners of any shops you're considering and see who you feel the most comfortable with. They'll be able to quote you prices.

Depending on your level of OCD and your budget, staying with the original color means you won't have to pay to repaint things like door jambs and the engine bay. Make sure the shop will be able to duplicate whatever they use, in the event you need anything repainted or touched up in the future.

You are the only one who can decide whether you want matching wheels.

When you get quotes for the paint job, find out what a wrap would cost. That (and the fact that a wrap can be undone) might help you decide.

Also, there are a lot of variables with painting. In addition to the quality of the work, ask about different types of paint, how many coats of clear they'll put on, and anything else you can think of.
