I have a GT PP, and I saw the recommended coolant in the manual is Motorcraft Orange, but what exactly should I be looking for when choosing coolant? Is there some sort of specification or type that is compatible? Sorry for the basic question, but I don't think I've ever had to go buy coolant before... My car is a weekend car that sees occasional track days, if that makes a difference. I'm not too concerned about cold temps because it is garaged in the winter, and the outside temps will probably only reach the teens a handful of times a year.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Ford specification all the way and if your car will never see freezing weather do a mixture of 60% water and 40% Ford approved coolant. Also add a bottle of water wetter if you wish to keep ECT temperatures below the 96c threshold.

96c ECT is where the ECU pulls timing.

Where should the coolant level be when cold or hot? There's a max fill line, and I didnt remove coolant when adding my water wetter so it's a little above it.

I also recommend adding a bottle of Royal Purple Ice in your coolant. It works for me.
