My question is, ive taken my car in for an alignment twice specifically to check my camber after lowering my car. They keep saying that its all in spec and my camber is good but my tires are feathered and loud when driving. Not sure what the problem is.

In spec to what camber 0.1- 1.5 neg ? I bought BMR cc bolts and when I had them installed the service dept. tech stated: I believe I can get the pony to 1.5 neg on the stock or OEM bolts.

Make sure your toe is 0.00 +/- 0.01 on either side. What tires?

Feathered wear just on the shoulder is probably toe, not camber. They're loud because they're old and hard, not camber.

Your car can be withing stock alignment params (which is a wide range) and still have enough toe to feather the tire.

How long has the car been lowered? Did they give you a printout showing the alignment specs you're currently at?

as said, toe is what kills tires more than negative camber

Ok i have a 2016 GT non performance pack. Everything is stock suspension except for lowering springs. Original tires which ive had now for about a year and a half. Little over 17000 miiles on it. Car has been lowered now for about 9 months. Current measurements as of mid October are: Left Front-Camber -1.3 Caster 7.3 Toe--0.01
Right Front Camber -1.4 Caster 7.8 Toe 0.00

How bad is the feathering? A bit of noise is really just normal for aged tires.

Tire pressures can contribute, esp on soft shouldered all-season tires if you let the pressures get too low (<32) or generally only make short trips (tires don't have time to build to operating pressures ~35 psi).

FWIW, I run a half degree more camber than you (2.0-2.3) and I'm getting a little inside shoulder feathering at 23k on these MPSS tires. Not enough to worry about, but my tires will probably cord there first, if I don't throw them out due to general age and wear before that.

That's not enough camber to cause feathering of any significance, nor is your toe out. They are [a very old design of] Pirellis...so take that for what it's worth. Folks had their stock summer Pzeros develop cupping and other defects from the factory.

Correct, though I'd post a pic of how bad it is. Can you measure the depth inside vs outside? Also, what struts/shocks are you using with your lowering springs?

Everything is stock except for the BMR springs

It's unusual, but I have heard of a few cases of cars cupping/feathering tires due to blown/significantly underdamped shocks. Given that you're on the non-PP shocks and struts, which have much less damping than even the stock GT PP ones, that could be a factor. I'd lean more towards bad tires, though.

didnt think the shocks would wear out after 17000 miles. only put about 5000 since i lowered it.
