3M weatherstrip adhesive will fix that quite well

From your pic it looks like someone or something was prying at it (marring on trim).

That trim is molded to and around the actual glass during assembly - if it’s torn away from the glass (hopefully not), you may need more help than just 3M adhesive tape.

First try pushing the trim back into the area it’s popped out of and then push inward to see if it will snap back into place. If it rebounds and pops out again, use a hairdryer or heat gun and try doing the same method of pushing it inward into the cavity. If it rebounds again, it could be too damaged to get back into place effectively with just a push and tuck. Try the 3M adhesive - if that does not work, you can try squeezing in black silicone in the cavity, push the piece back in and place painters tape over it while applying force. Put enough tape to hold it into place for 24 hours and see if that works.

Aside from those fixes, a new window is the only other option.

Anyone else seeing the window trim lifting. On my drivers side the trim has a small gap and doesn't line up with the front door trim. I can push it flat with my finger but it immediately lifts when I let it go. The passenger side is fine. I'm going to try getting some adhesive behind it unless someone has a better fix. This isn't something I would take to the dealer. They would just mess it up even more.

2018 GT here and yes, the trim on the top where it connects near the rear quarter window and door is lifted ever so slightly on both sides. Will use 3M adhesive to get it to sit flush.

Did this ever get solved? Just picked up a 2016 GT and my passenger side is exactly like the picture by the OP. Any solutions other than going to dealer and having them replace the whole quarter window assembly? The trim is just there to cover the gap and not actually to seal the window, so it's not hurting anything sticking out, but it's just an eye sore!!

Did that do the trick? When I pry back the rubber more, I can see where it is separated from the main piece of rubber that buts up against the metal. The 3M adhesive glue for weather stripping is to glue weather stripping to metal. What it looks like is the outter rubber needs to be reglued to the inner rubber.

I fixed mine using "Automotive Goop" or use windshield adhesive if you can get it cheap.
1. Park in the sun for a hour or use a hairdryer to warm up the trim and the area around it.
2. Mask off the roof with green painters tape, the areas around the trim and the outside surface of the trim so you don't get adhesive all over and make a mess.
3. Prepare a few strips of painters tape about 5" to 6" long. Have them close by. You will need these at the end.
4. Put a pea-sized amount of goop on the tip of a screwdriver. Not too much. You don't want it oozing out when you press the trim against the car.
5. Hold back the trim just enough to get the adhesive in behind. If your trim is really sticking out and being difficult you may need more goop.
6. Press the trim into place so it sits flush with the adjacent trim piece. It is possible to press it too far in, you want it perfectly flush when looking down the roof-line.
7. Use the strips of painters tape previously prepared and tape across the trim going from the roof down onto the window. This will hold the trim in place while the adhesive cures.
8. Let it sit for 8 hours or so and then carefully remove all the tape. Do not let the car sit in the sun with the tape on.

Unfortunately, no. I had to use this instead: https://www.amazon.com/3M-08609-Win...SP58G2SF9M4&psc=1&refRID=RYZVAVTKJSP58G2SF9M4

Make sure to clean the area exposed behind the trim before you apply this adhesive so it sticks properly. I have not had a problem since.

$587 from the dealer, with an estimated $250 install fee....YIKES!!!!!

I tried the stuff mentioned above, and I think the rubber is just too tough to stay in place; I'm assuming it is popped out like that because the sun has probably caused it to deform, and thus, that's the shape it's going to be in no matter what...

I can live with it if it means saving $850 to NOT have the dealer rip me off...

Source the rear 1/4 glass off of eBay, copart.com or LKQ. That glass can be purchased used for as low as $250 a side that are totally damage free...

The R&R can be done at home, just takes a bit of time (rear interior plastics have to be removed).
