Quality Control Improvement

[1st time Mustang]

Expecting to pick up my car by the end of this week.I been reading the forums since April 20th.I was wondering if quality control has improved since then.If any one here has a June delivered car..were panels align correctly.Also how was the rear window brake light alignment..Just a BIT nervous..Thank you..

seen some recently invoiced cars still have flaws. Test drove a 5/13/15 invoiced car and the rear glass alignment was a little off. It wasnt too much off, seen a lot worse. Go over it with a fine tooth comb before taking possession

Mine was a May car and the rear window was jacked as well as some panels. Noone is safe with ford QC

I wouldn't be concerned with the rear window if i were you. It is a pretty easy fix as long as the window company knows what their doing when they come in to fix it. I had mine fixed and it looks near perfect.

June 11 delivery here, EB Prem 6MT, and no problems. QC was ok.

Purchased off the lot on June 6th.

Minor QC issues. Bumpers are slightly misaligned on the back left and front right of mine, but back right and front left are perfect.

It's not something that keeps me up at night.

I purchased mine in March, it was built in January. I noticed a little bit of paint coming off between the rear bumper and the quarter panel when washing it one day. Besides that, my panels align, rear glass looks good, no missing parts etc.

I do have a little dash rattle when its colder outside, but I have noticed that in the SC heat, even that has gone away.

Encouraging posts... the one thing keeping me from placing an order is waiting for several weeks only to find a car that I'll refuse to take delivery of. I'll need a car in roughly two months and the longer I wait the more I'll have to scramble, or buy from dealer stock...

Mine was built 02/15 and the only issue i've noticed is the rear bumper on the passenger side rubs into the rear quarter panel. On the drivers side its not as flush either. Its not enough to make me want to get it fixed, and it's hardly noticeable anyways.

Exactly what my thoughts were. So i ran around local dealers until i fond what i wanted. My car was an april build.. panel aligning was ok and for me i like to see what i buy.
