Quality Control Issues

Just being real...do you think Bentley's have alignment issues (anywhere)? It's the lowest priced, best "bang for the buck" sports car out there (that's why I love it). For an MSRP of $33k...I'm not going to take it to the dealer & nit-pick it to death. It's leaps & bounds over the last gen, an improvement for sure, not a perfect car & I don't expect it to be.

Often it is not a matter of nit picking. Have you seen some of the alignment issues in this thread?

Many of the issues are very bad and not okay on a vehicle of any price. While, imo, some of these are inexcusable, I'd chalk them up to this being a first run of the model - not the fact that it is a Mustang.

Mine came in early April (3/17 build) and I had the following before delivery:

• Front bumper was deformed from the factory. Dealer swapped with a good bumper from a retail stock car at my request.
• A small fender ding that was fixed by the dealer before delivery
• Pen-tip-sized paint chip on the front passenger door that I fixed myself with free touchup paint from the dealer

After owning the car for a month I have noticed a few other things:

• Small paint run about the diameter of a #2 pencil eraser on the left side of the rear bumper
• Small "dent" on the trunk lid above the right taillight. I just think it was a stamping issue.
• Some debris under the paint in the channel that runs along the roof line on the passenger side

None of these things really bother me, I realized going from a BMW to a Ford that there were going to be things like this.
