Universal tips with multiple size/dimension options....
Didn’t see the word corvette mentioned but probably can fit a vette too

This is what makes this all unique and difficult..... the 2018+ Mustang has a custom single wall industrial style tip that connects to each muffler by the tip by having a custom slant bend down then straight out., if we could easily cut the tips off and just put a universal tip like most cars, it would end up too high for the stock valance and too close to the actual lower frame. those with AE valves also complicates it further.

Therefore the final section of the factory tip exits (straight out portion) is the only section safe to try to put some type of sleeve or tip on over it.

This is the only way to maintain integrity of the decent original factory exhaust system, otherwise you got to replace mufflers with some expensive axle back that has its own design.

This could be a viable option for us. Curious if it could be mounted differently.
Well I guess it needs the diffuser that it can bolt on to, but the installation guide does not seem to show any example of how it is mated to the existing exhaust. Description seems vague with for those who have a single exit exhaust and want a quad look, makes no sense since all 18+ GT come with quads and it says it is specifically for 18+ GT.

Not sure about your guys and your 4 tip and 6 tip fantasies, but I am quite happy with my x pipe and dual Roush tips on my 15 GT.
I agree. Just personal preferences but I like the number of tips to be equal to the number of engine banks. But I'd put up with quads to get the factory active exhaust sound.

Just listen to it on youtube videos. It's just WAY to raspy for me. Makes it sound like it's trying to be an exotic IMO.
MBRP race... glorious sounds.

I contacted American Muscle and CJ's and asked them to contact their exhaust vendors. And propose to them in making exhaust tips for those of us, with (2018's,19's, & now 20's) that have Active Valve Performance Exhausts on our Mustangs. I'd be Okay if I could just paint the tips black, (from the valve out) and be able to do a decent job that would last.

Agreed 100%. Hipster, certainly not a car person. Some other person like that was fawning all over the GT500 exhaust and how the engineers know how to do it right vs all the after market offerings.

I've never had an issue getting an exhaust to sound great.
Can we all agree any that V8 sounds better than a Tesla?

The tips are from Go Rhino part number GRT3410B.I cut them to the desired length and used 2 strips of header wrap on each factory tip to create a tight fit.I drilled and tapped 2 holes in each tip and used allen screews which tighten into the header wrap. There is about a 1/8 of an inch of space between them.

Nice work!
