Had my GT PP for a month and noticed a nail sticking out of the front right tire. If I read the tire warranty correctly - I should be cover. No? It still shows that it has tire pressure.

I didn't read the warranty paper, but I still have it. I'm pretty sure 1 year coverage for them, though

Do a get a new tire? The warranty states:

"If a Run Flat tire becomes unserviceable due to workmanship or materials or road hazard injury....the tire will be replaced with the same or comparable tire at no charge for the tire to the owner"

"Tires which become unserviceable because of road hazard injuries (e.g. nails, glass, metal objects) or other penetrations or snags, bruises or impact damage, except for those Run Flat lines specifically covered by the Pirelli Road Hazard Policy"

Guess the key word here is 'unserviceable'. The dealer where I bought the car first stated they would plug the tire - which reading on other forums stated mixed opinions on plugging run flats.

These are not run-flat tires. Any good tire shop should be able to tell you if that location is OK for a plug/patch or not. The best plugs also have a path incorporated in them, and are installed from the inside of the tire.
