I got mine early January and I have about 3,500 miles on it already. I got a long commute which doesn't help, but the whole point I got this car was so that my commute was more enjoyable since it's my DD.

Just enjoy your car, don't worry about the little things. It's why I don't freak out (anymore anyway) about little rock chips or scratches. I still do my best to take care of it, but it's impossible to keep it pristine. Just realize in the end it's a car—use it like one!

12/17/14 to 4/7/15, at 952 miles and parked till Talladega race after reaching 1,000 miles/ 6 month oil change, Mainly for car shows and track days. It will be pulled to track days. 8 year/ 80000 mile warranty bumper to bumper. My last sports car unless I get a GT350 to go with it in a few years. My truck gets better MPG and is a Auto for DD and also has 400 hp and 420 TQ and is a single cab.

I had 2500 miles on mine in the first 6 weeks, including the 500 mile drive home from the dealer. I used it as a DD during that time and have an 80 mile round trip commute to work. I got another DD though so the Mustang only comes out when it's nice. I do enjoy driving it and do any chance I get, but I don't drive it in the rain if I don't have to.

Picked mine up "used" in February with 380 miles on the odometer and immediately added 200 on the drive home. It sat for 5 weeks with the nasty winter weather (have an older pickup for winter driving), but I've put nearly 900 miles on her in the past 3 weeks as my new daily driver. I have to admit that it hurts a little to drive it in the rain, as my '98 has only seen inclement weather 3 times in the past decade.

Great stories!!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one that let's the good times roll and enjoys the hell out of every mile they put on 'er!

I've always wondered something that I've noticed some people discussing about-- rain. Why do folks not like driving their Mustang in the rain? Is it because it rusts the components that bad or is it because it gets the car dirty?

Pretty much because they don't want it to get dirty.
