Because why do it the normal way first?

I don't really feel like running the wires from my vent to my fuse box this month (I will eventually but I'm super time strapped thanks to hurricane ass clown)

So I'm getting a basic gauage mount. The only thing using power is a tiny LED that draw next to nothing. So I'm gonna link it to this. I have a few laying around.

When I do have time I wanna do a very nice clean set up using different gauges. But I'm the interim I need to know my boost now.

Tell me how stupid I am🙃

I'd recommend removing the battery when not in use. Also, make sure you don't over discharge.

As an alternative; use the 12v cigarette lighter port.

Yea why dont you just surface mount a wire to the cig lighter for temporary? It wont look clean but it will work for way less effort

Considered that too. But I just wanted to find a use for these batteries sitting here.

There is no logic here.🙃
