I agree with the advice to shop multiple dealers. I sent emails to half a dozen dealers in the Seattle area and told them I was looking for pricing better than the X-Plan price. I bought my car from one of those dealers for $1200 under invoice. I recommend you use the X-Plan price as a starting point for negotiations. Good luck!

This is always really painful... Time has come to order Dealer direct...

The simple car I want isn't to be had as it's a V6, stick, white, with the 051A option... I'm actually having to go three states away (if I buy) and will work to split the Truecar deal to 50%... Figures to be $24,322.00 before T,T,T for the above car. Sadly, for a few extra $K, I could get a GT (base).. If it doesn't fly, I'll just suck it up, wait until May, and order a 2016..although I'll hate it..

XDman, your car is exactly the color scheme I want to build. Deep Blue, dual wide white (maybe silver) stripes, and bright wheels. What color is your interior?

Question - Did your car come striped, or was it aftermarket?
