Hi All,
I went in for a test drive today at my local ford dealship. I was thinking getting the new mustang ecoboost premium with the performance package. The car I tested was MSRP at $36000 and I asked for their invoice. They show me the invoice ($32500) and the price is actually higher than their online listing by 200 dollars.
Is that invoice even real? It has the correct VIN of the vehicle. I told them my max is 28K. They offer me different configurations to fit my budget but they are all overprice. For example, a base ecoboost with automatic transmission is about 22K + the performance package ($1999) = $24~25K. They said around 28K. I saw listing online with the premium config (auto) and they are cheaper than these guys.
Here is the listing for the same config from another dealer about 20 minutes away and it is 4K cheaper.
Koon in VA
Can they fake an invoice? should I go for that listing I linked? I look like a good deal? would 27K Out of the door a fair offer?
Thanks
