I would say as long as it is a good deal, being 1 1/2 model years old it's fine. It seems it should be a couple of thousand cheaper than an equivalent good deal on a 2020. I would do it. Bought a used '18 a few months back with miles on it and it is excellent. As nice as my new '19. So, yeah, get it and put photos on!

Bought my 17 mustang in my display, in February 2019 2 year leftover, had 15 miles on showroom. It has msrp 34k I got for 21.6k (23k w tax)

I did have to get a new battery, got it at another dealer under warranty
Man, that just hurts my soul. Got my 17 in January 2019, but with 11k miles. Nowhere near 21k lol

I got my '19 at Wade Ford over in Smryna back in mid March. Build date 1/3/19. So it had been there a while. Had 40 miles when I first laid eyes on her :inlove:

I looked her over really closely. There were a couple of door dings on the passenger door I had them fix. Oil was fresh. Battery looked crystal clean. I had to remove some some drops of tar off the hood and some pollen build up in some creases here and there, which I didn't mind. No blemishes caused by them, and I wanted to do the cleaning myself.

I did find a little surface rust on the front strut bodies, but I'm not worried about that. Those will get upgraded in due time.

The full warranty didn't start until I drove it off the lot, so if anything acts up I'll have them fix it.

Apparently nobody wanted an Ingot Silver 301a A10 GT. She was a chunk of bright silver in the rough. :)

Yeah sitting on the lot the car gets dings. Just dents or were there any paint issues? Did the have a local guy come and just pull them out?

It was a couple of good size door dings/scratches. Not something I would call a big dent though. They have a body shop, and said they took the door apart (not off) and removed the glass to fix it and paint. Had it for a few days. That silver is pretty easy to match, so it turned out well.

I bought mine with 60 miles on it. Been there about a year. Black paint was swirled and full of hard water stains. Almost 10 k off and zero interest. Paint correction done and it’s a terrific car. 301a and A10 PP1

Ingot Silver is still my favorite color for the 2015 and up mustangs; I know I may be in the minority in this opinion and in the opinion that Ingot Silver is a nicer hue of silver than the darker Iconic Silver for 2020 + year mustangs. You have, in my opinion, the best all-around exterior color: relatively easy to keep clean, it doesn't show dirt too badly (unless it is really, really filthy dirty), it doesn't attract and retain a lot of heat in the summer and when it is cleaned and shined up, it shines like a bright and shiny new nickel.

Pretty sure he has an Ecoboost and not a 5.0. Though that's still an insane discount. The dealer ate a lot on that one as the rebates were probably long gone.

Exactly, they had it listed at 28k they had 2 of them, half way across country. I called, said I am interested, he said we have 2. one on showroom for last 2 years, (he had like several Shelby's etc.. brand new.. sitting on showroom floor from like 2010 etc..) blows my mind. and one eco outside with 100 miles.

They had already paid both cars off, they claimed the 2500 rebate too that was going on when they bought it from ford. Never titled either of them. I offered 25k, then I backed out after they mailed me the papers, it was just a lot of $ for a car 2 years old, despite everything. I said id take for 21k, and they even paid for my plane ticket. The sales guy said he couldn't do it, but he gave the request to the owner, the owner contacted me and talked to me, about military serving etc, he was like, alright lets do it. come get your car.

Flew to Montana, and drove 28 hours back to ohio. Id do it again. Had a blast. They told me they needed the first one gone, it would make the other one more appealing, bam, I bought it. 1 week later, someone else bought the one with 100 miles.

They was like that is crazy.

my little build thing, look at the orange box on the right. that's when I bought it, kinda neat.

Look at the car behind mine, it was a Shelby I believe, brand new, never sold just sitting there. The dealership primarily sells trucks and work vans etc, so the mistake was buying these mustangs they said in this color particularly lol

OP, I would not even hesitate once to get another 2-3 year leftover honestly. My full factory warranty started the day I picked it up, my local dealership was surprised when I went in to get a new battery, I didn't need it but I wanted to get it tested, and sure enough the battery like 180CCA lmao. they said you're warranty is almost up, its a 17, I said nope, they looked it up, it just started its full warranty cycle

yeah that’s crazy what year was the Shelby?
Sometimes if there’s a deal they should take it especially in a market like that. I may look them up online and see what they have sitting there... have you checked their website lately?

Good point on the cleaning, I did my own rather than complaining as their lot guys aren't know for tender loving care and what they do will not be up to my standards anyway.
Mine got a new battery prior to purchase and the tech left the cover in the trunk with none of the 3 twist screws in sight.. idiots.
The engine bay was dirty as heck too, I took care of that.

I cannot remember, he said make me an offer, I said Lol its not grabber blue. I didn't like the pony package, but I knew I could change the grilles and wheels, but they sell primarily trucks and stuff.

look up the site, browse inventory, its been a year since I was there though. Great company, honestly I will look them up in future if I ever want another ford vehicle. they treated me really well.
