Good luck with that right now!Being in SC, I was thinking of changing the tires out for more street able version, and keeping the one on it for the track.
Michelin has shifted their production heavily to their winter tires.
Dang near impossible to find 295/35R19 & 305/35R19 in anything other than the stock SC2's.
Now, give it a few months (March?), and that needle might swing back in a better direction.
FWIW, I swapped my SC2's to Super Sports at 200 miles and have been very happy with them on my DD!
Protect it and make your life a little easier:
- Bed your Brembo pads correctly: https://www.carid.com/brembo/info/bedding-guide.html
- Oil-Air Separator on the passenger side
- Save $50 and buy this instead of the FP one which is this filter with a FP sticker on the box: https://smile.amazon.com/Airaid-AIR...sr_1_1?keywords=863-399&qid=1577661985&sr=8-1
- PPF the front end, "A" pillars, and the rear fender swells (I would also have them do the black plastic trim piece on the trunk lid - scratches very easily)
- Ceramic coat the wheels
- When you tire of brake dust - Power Stop Z26 pads
- Follow the engine break in procedures (manual) and change your oil at 1000 miles (not in manual)
- Enjoy the hell out of your new car!
