I tried looking for a thread but I gave up and decided to start a new one. Does anyone here have any experience will pulling the s550 fenders? I am trying to make some more clearance for my 315s in the rear so I dont scrub on every other dip in the road and to possibly get rid of some of my camber.

I know I can always go over-fenders or wide body blah blah blah but I dont have the funds for that and honestly I would like to appear to have stock-ish body lines but with a meaty rear fitment. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

P.S. Excuse the shit pic quality! Car is fifthly and Im not a professional photographer. Iphone pics for the win

Anyone that has experience rolling/pulling fenders should be able to do this for you. Just make sure they go slow and use heat to keep the paint from cracking. The guy that rolled my WRX fenders just used a heat gun and fender roller to pull mine in about an hour.

You can use the Eastwood roller or baseball bat if you have a Smaller wheel to get the bat between the 1/4 panel wheel arch and tire. I know it sounds crude, but it works. I have a 2016 GT350 and stock it looks like the gt350 rears are already rolled. What do the stock ones on your car look like without the tire on? Is it a wide pinch weld? For $120.00 the Eastwood roller is a deal.

Our cars are already rolled as well both front and rear. The baseball bat method works, but that roller would be better.

IMO the best option would be to let a pro do it. For the same cost as buying the tool, you can find someone to pull the fenders properly.

Ive done them on older model mustangs but not on S550. It's not hard to do, just take your time and go a little at a time. Imo I'd rather do it myself then to trust someone else but that's just me, but I come from a body shop family. It's hard to tell by your pics, but if the tires are protruding past the 1/4 panel, rolling them is not going to help.

Our fenders are already rolled man. The OP is asking about PULLING them out so they don't rub.

I guess I'm confused because you guys are saying fenders. The fenders are the front of the car. I can't see anyone wanting to run a 315 on the front. If he means "pulled" as in flaired or wide body kit then it's a extensive job.

Wow a bit of a temper. If you want a specific answer to a fking question then have your facts straight. It's called stretched or flaired. Not pulled. Guess coming from a family that owns a body shop for 40 plus years I know the correct terms not ghetto terms. He stated "pulling the fenders" that to me is to remove them.

You're getting attitude from me because you are throwing around your experience like a prick IMO. Example: "Ghetto terms"

Next time don't be so critical of others and understand that not everyone has your experience.

Your the one who's flying off the handle to a simple question that is misinterpreted. You yourself also thought he meant roll the inner lip just as I did. Your the one who is going off on me. I was just trying to help the op with a question I thought he was asking. Take my response as you like but I'm not throwing around anything. Don't be mad at me because you can't do your own work.

Lmfao, you are something else man.

I never once was confused by his question because as you put it, I understood the "ghetto term" he used. I was simply always correcting or answering your confusions. You mentioned rolled GT350, I stated ours are already rolled as well and then went on to say he could pull them or get them pulled.

End of discussion. Sorry for this mess OP.
