I'm really lost, my shop went over the installation multiple times and couldn't find the issue. we ran both 93 and e85 and still getting the knock. which make you think its false knock. Someone in some FB group, said that he fought the knock for a long time and didnt go away till he replaced his K-member. Trust me if I can avoid it, I would. I'm just trying to do anything possible to eliminate that stupid knock. I don't want to desensitize them yet, but its a possibility down on the road.
Maybe try adding some dynamat or clone to the k member to muffle the sonic sound if that is indeed what is causing the false knock. just try to keep it away from the headers/exhaust. if it fixes it, then you know without a doubt where the issue is.

I just got my BMR Street K Member in from FedEx. It arrived in a box by itself, a much larger box. As you can imagine, it looked like someone trapped a wolverine inside it and it got out. Then it was patched by FedEx and subsequently broke out again. Only a couple dings on a flange that will straighten out easily but it was a pathetic shipping job.

Not sure on the false knock, but the BMR race K member made installing and removing the cold side of my TT kit 100x easier. Not to mention the 30 lb weight savings.

Fitment was perfect.

I would still do the steeda member even if it wasn't a sleeper kit and a top mount like @Hitani .

Man id do wrap or something before going this route. It's an expensive endeavor just to solve false knock.

This problem could be many things. If the problem is on shifting only then it's probably contact somewhere. If it's just during the rpm sweep, it's probably resonance. In which case it would be hard to pin it down.

Good luck man.... This would be a last ditch option for me if I were in your shoes.

84.39% of false knock comes from somewhere in the exhaust system.

Whether it’s intermittent contact, resonance, floating broken debris from cats, hangers, welded locations, clamps, etc.
