I think you're right on the weather, so far I've had no one on the Australian section say they've had the problem.

That sounds like a good reason to move home to me.

Sucks for you but good for me; I have to fold mine twice each time to get in and out of the garage.

So surely a clear film, self adhesive cover over the top of the projection light is in order? (When new of course).

What if it's like a clare film wrap over the ENTIRE underside of the puddle lamps? thus protecting the whole thing from potential water and weather damage.

If we disclosed things like this we'd all be in the sh1tter, Ian would be paying thousands for his cooking experiments, others would be paying hundereds for interior mods like the steering wheel etc.

And yes, i smirked at that, you n0b :lol::lol:

Noticed a few spots appearing in the drivers mirror on mine this morning.

Car is garaged but doesn't seem to matter

Took a photo of mine this morning, i cant see how the template can get damaged...as far as i can see its covered by a clear plastic clip, so the cutout thing must be inside the mirror and somewhat protected.

Looks like it can just be unclipped assumingly to replace the bulb or whatever js used to project the image

I would be shocked if the whole door mirror assembly needs to be taken apart. Hoping i can get the part selivered so i can do it myself!

Have you tried un clipping it? Would imaging the water (if it is water) would come in though the top of the mirror. Would be difficult for it to go through the bottom of the mirror right?

How big are the projected films? Don't know why but I weirdly imagined it would be the size of the whole bottom of the mirror lol. Didn't occur to me it would be that small

Nope, havent touched it mate. But yes, not at all as you would imagine. Tempted to take it apart but not rushing.

Must be a diagram online somewhere of how the components look?
