The emblem is put over a regular lens with some sort of cheapo paint-like substance that wears off after a while, or gets knocked off by rocks/sand etc. coming off the road/tires.

Is this an item that is covered under warranty? My passenger side still works, but looks absolutely terrible, so many scratches can be seen when the light shines on the ground

I just noticed my drivers side doing the same thing. after 7 months of ownership and only 900 miles of good weather driving.

yeah its a warranty item. Had them replaced on my 14. quick easy and cheap after warranty if you have to do it. I think they are like 10 or 15 if you buy them yourself.

Mine went crazy the other night. Looks like a cross between an Arkansas Razorback emblem and a flying pig.

My dealer laughed at me when I called and told them my pony was looking more like a pig and need to make an appointment to get it looked at and fixed.

Well thank god I'm not the only one who had their pony turn into a pig. One day mine lost his legs. Looks like a big blob with a head.
