PSA Don't Buy

Sorry if this belongs somewhere else, but I find that it would be wrong of me to not give a heads up...(my apologies to the dealership as well).

As many of you know I had a pretty awful experience with my 2016 Tech pack, and Ford ended up buying it back.

The car is now for sale at a retail dealer. Of course the title is branded as a buy-back but I would want to advise anyone that unless the deal was too good (unlikely) that this car is not the car.

Why cant you believe it? It's standard practice. The vehicles go thorough certification process before being sold and depending on the state, branded with a buy back title.

I’ve been without my 17 non R for 3 months. I have an 18 R in transit. This all goes back to a dealership bad install of front splitter and damage that occurred when it happened and they will not fix it. I have a case number with Ford. They told me I will have to work it out with the dealership. I’m really thinking of just selling all my cars and trucks as I’ve had no assistance by anyone. I’m now in the market for a GT3. Does anyone have suggestions to help resolve the lack of customer service? Service manager and GM of the selling dealership (400 miles away) have talked with two local dealerships which sent pictures showing hardware was missing and acknowledged their installation error but since it has 2300 miles on it the install should have been good enough. Somehow it’s my fault??

It went through a process before it was released the first time as well and was still a piece of shit. Now, it is a piece of shit with a buyback title. I hadn't heard of buyback titles as we do not have those in Canada...as mentioned in my original post...the buy backs here are crushed...which is why I was surprised...perhaps 'not being able to believe it' was the wrong choice of words...maybe I should have said surprised instead. Would that have been better for you?
