go aftermarket and its pretty much rule of thumb...use t bolt clamps for intercooler piping clamps. MAPs piping comes with tbolt clamps but you can pick them up online from multiple places.

I blew my piping off the turbo at full boost and off the bottom of intercooler same side later after my cobb tune.
Again, same here. Lol. My cold side pipe connections were just fine and seated properly. However, on the hot side, the coupling was coming off at the turbo and where the hard pipe connects at the intercooler coupling.

For those of you with this issue, what was your build date? I'm trying to see if this was resolved at the factory after a certain date. Thanks!

My passenger intercooler pipe had a few threads showing. Tighten that up so now it's seated properly. The pipe on the compressor housing was also not seated as flush as it could have been either.

Driver-side intercooler connection was fine, had to reach my arm down there and take a flash photo and was praying it didn't need adjusting because I was not excited about removing the splitter from underneath the car.

Are these able to be tightened without going underneath the car?

I was able to get passenger-side from up top. However had the bolt been facing down instead of up there's no way in hell I would've been able to do it. Driver-side no way

Just checked mine all connections are tight .... Build date 12/2014
This maybe dealer specific and the factory is sending the ecoboost with loose connections for a reason .
And if there is a TSB on this any dealer would be aprised of this ongoing issue .

I've checked mine and they all check out. My build date is early September (one of the first off the line). Of course, I had the broken AC Compressor at delivery, so they likely got disconnected and reconnected then, thus averting the loose connections I likely had at delivery. :)

Where does it tell you the build date of the vehicle? by the tire pressure chart?

Looking quickly, it looks like there are a few threads showing on my passenger hose. I had just driven the car for a while so it was hot. Didn't feel like sticking my hand down there.
