Hi guys,

Is there a proper way to adjust/measure those rubber bump-stops for our hood? Are they supposed to barely touch the hood, or are they supposed to provide enough upward force against the hood to properly activate lock?

They should be adjusted so they touch underneath and provide alignment of the hood to the fenders.
The best way to adjust that I found is with a small piece of Play-Doh closed between the hood and stop. Adjust the stop until it registers no gap with the hood at the proper height.

Ooo. That’s a great idea! Thanks for the heads-up!

Anyone know whether the height of these stops have anything to do with hood flutter ? Or is that an entirely different issue?

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I think it does help with the hood dance. I use the Play-Doh technique also. I also installed the two weather strips at the hood corners available for the GT.

Is there a way to adjust where the hood connects with the hood latch? my hood sits perfect when i first place it down but when i push down to make it click in place it moves ever so slightly to the left.

Do you have a picture of the weatherstrips?
I'm having an issue where the hood underneath is rubbing on the reinforcing struts.
