Ahh. Good to know. Thanks, pilotgore! You wouldnāt happen to have a link to where I can buy a gt350 starter, do you? Or the part number will be super helpful too. Iāve tried looking them up, but am a little confused. I see some for the regular 5.0, I see one for the gt350 and then I see one for...
Hey guys, I think Iāve solved my starting issues (I think). For the longest time, my car would randomly not ācrankā when starting up after a track session or long drive. At first I thought it was the starter relay or starter fuse, after changing those out, I still had starting problems.
I...
Honeybadger, I couldnāt find any adjustable ones from BMR. Are these the ones your talking about?

Thanks
Thanks noxide. Those numbers are different than the ones I got with owners supplement. I wonder if it changed over the years. My ā18 owners manual says -1.5 front with .10 total out and -1.0, -.3 in total for rear.
Also, I have the adjustable OEM camber plates that come in the ā19 and...
I understand that itās not possible to get the Ford recommended track alignment numbers without camber plates. How about the rear? Do I need a steeda rear camber kit to get the FP track alignment specs?
I donāt know whether I messed up or whether itās an incompetent shop. I have a ā18 non-R. I installed the oem camber plates that come with ā19 and up gt350s.
I took it to an alignment shop to try get the Ford recommended track alignment. The guy said they canāt adjust my camber plates since...
Thanks for the link! Looking into it now. Since itāll be my first autocross, Iām thinking of using my stock ND Miata. Donāt wanna bring out the heavyweight bruiser yet.
Nice! I was just there this past weekend at the auto club speedway for the first time with the Porsche Club. Iāve never done autocross before. You got info for Cal-Club? Whatās CAM-C?
I finally saw one at this weekends track section. So jealous of those that have it. I canāt imagine the heat of a barebones car in these 100Ā°+ temps plus all that nomex safety gear. I thought I was suffering with T-shirt and shorts.
Ok, cool! Always down to meet another SoCal owner. Which area you at? Iām in the Santa Clarita area. I donāt know how you got to Jiu jitsu, but ok.
So let me get this straight. So as a total track newbie, the first thing I should do to any new car is totally modify it before I hit the tracks. Got it.
Thanks for clearing that up Honeybadger! Good to know my gt350 is behaving normally under those weather conditions. Knock on wood, its only cooler weather coming up. I'm gonna be keeping an eye on how much of a difference ambient air temps play on our car's oil coolers.
Tracktardicus, Iām in a similar crossroad. I absolutely love my gt350. But I keep my cars stock (except tires). Iām wondering whether I should pursue a different car or will I just run into the same problems. Literally, the only other car Iād be interested in is an M2 competition. Nothing else...
An update: i was at auto club speedway this weekend (3 days in a row). New oil. It was a record breaking 115Ā°. My oil temps reached 297Ā° degrees, and then I decided to just start shifting at 7000rpm instead. Seemed like that made a pretty large difference in oil temps (thanks for the tip...
