a close ratio th400 with a lock up converter is the way to go. When high load is required to create enough exhaust back pressure to spin a massive turbo, a power glide will shine.Yeah I don't think they end up being that different with the correct converter.
But even the turbo guys who don’t need a lot of back pressure like twins, most of them go th400 also.
