Installed Steeda bushing supports and the new BMR springs. With a lot of grunting, got the cradle installed.

So with that end of the car done, time to move onto the brakes. After doing some reading online there seems to be some pros and cons of powdercoating calipers. I decided to go for it. If it fails I will do something different. I get a pretty good deal on powdercoating as they do it at my work, free is hard to beat.

Started by removing all the seals and pistons. Then off to the chemical cleaners to thoroughly clean them and then glass bead them. Then a final hot water rinse and they are ready for masking and red powder. I may get them back today and then it will go to the paint shop to get a new black Brembo logo painted on.

Filled rear diff, installed rear brakes and also put in the Steeda subframe connectors. Now it is a waiting game for parts to come in.

Got more done this weekend. Removed front bumper and removed lower grill. I ordered a non PP grill as it will allow me to put in a custom brake cooling kit.

To install the chin spoiler, I decided to use all the factory fasteners along the front edge of the belly pan. I drilled a couple of locating holes for reference and then removed the belly pan and positioned in over the chin spoiler. I transferred the existing hole locations onto tape and drilled them out. I also added the fasteners that came with the kit. The factory screws are now too short so I will swing by Ford and see if they have any longer ones.
My youngest son has taken an interest in this whole project and is getting involved.

Front Brembos got powdercoated yesterday, they look great. Pics will come after I get the airbrushed brembo logos put on.

Not much progress today. Got the new OEM grill I ordered today and quickly modified it for the inlet ports for the brake cooling ducts. Will take it to work and get the sheetmetal guys to make up a 3" hose inlet to fit the back of the grill. Will finish chin spoiler install tomorrow.

Got some factory air deflectors removed so there is room for the 3" brake hoses to go. Just used a Dremel to cut them off and now there is a straight line from the inlet to the brake duct that is being made.
