Thanks as I have never seen that website. Someone stated on the SVTP site that 3011 2020 GT350 cars were made (total). I have no clue if that number is correct.

Here is what I wrote down in my notes (more notes on R's which are included here). These may be off as well:

2015: 137
2016: 6169
2017: 6838
2018: 4378
2019: 3595
2020: 3011

Total: ~24,128
Aside from your 2020 production numbers (which to my knowledge have not been confirmed yet) I agree with all your prior production numbers except for 2017 as the correct production numbers should be 7115.

Hopefully we will all receive confirmed 2020 GT350 and R production numbers very soon!

95CobraR: Interesting guesstimate you came across for 2020 but I suspect a couple hundred too optimistic. There was Covid impact, few weeks plant shutdown. For sure a boatload of HEP/HEP R cars built and they did extend production right into Dec. ....but IDK. Initially, Ford stated in dealer Shelby program buy-in that they would build 2,800 TOTAL GT350s in 2020. We....will...see! 👍

Understood but based on the production numbers that I have in my possession from FP it is my understanding that the numbers that I posted are correct.

If the official 2017 production numbers have since been changed or revised down to 6,857 cars from 7,115 cars, I am not aware of that and then would stand corrected.

BTW, I would like to understand who it was that put the spreadsheet together that you refer to as it certainly wasn't FP?

Suggest that you take a very close look at some of the spelling on your production sheet example!

Pain Color
Equiptment Group
Conveniance Package
Standard Equipment 900A2
Total Number of Pre-Production Units ?

After looking closely at the spread sheet example that you provided I would certainly not trust your source as this is certainly not the type of work that FP would provide to the general public.

1. In todays society... pain is free to identify as a color.
2. Equiptment is the past tense of equipment.
3. Conveniance is a French word...!!!!

I could see at least 3000 units or more being built for the 2020 MY and could be wrong but believe there were over 800 GT350/R HEP cars built let alone all other non HEP GT350 and GT350R's for the last model year.

As well I will suggest that there were ~715 R models in total built for the 2020 MY.

Looking back I still remember looking to purchase a 2007 Shelby GT500 and based on information that was provided to me at the time from Ford the launch year for the 2nd generation GT500 was to be a limited production vehicle.

So what did Ford do, they went and built 10,847 GT500 vehicles in 2007.

Point being made is don't trust early production numbers provided by Dearborn as they can change very quickly and believe that we will have the final 2020 GT350/R production numbers sometime next month.

As you mentioned, we will see! :like: :like:

I have been a member here for almost 3 years (two weeks before I ordered my K1868).

Some guys here along with me drove a great north Georgia 6 Gap drive. It was great fun. The virus stopped that.

It was the last time that I saw GT350 on the road around here. I suspect that many cars are hidden in garages and not driven (like the 6 mile one above). I don't get it. The total production is 24K+ so not rare.

Would you mind posting the official 2017 numbers on the 2017 numbers thread?
