I just got mine yesterday and installed it last night, it covers the vac gauge and passenger vent slightly. I'm in the process of a multistage wax today and should wrap it up tomorrow, I'll try and remember to take some pix of it and post them up this weekend.

Overall I'm ok with the little bit it covers, the ProClip is worth it to me.

i think the skosche magnet mount is a lot cleaner than this proclip solution

Oh ya, I had a cd slot mount too and in practice they are great, the problem with them is that they always block the radio screen....I saw the skosche in another thread too and am gonna mount it just like they did, perfect spot, close enough to reach for anything, and doesn't block anything....

i was actually using something similar, but it was in a bad location (cd tray magnet mount). when i saw the skosche in a new thread here, i was impressed and immediately switched. im so glad i did i'm enjoying the new location.

this was my old mount

Here is the Proclip with my Galaxy S5 (no case) in my PP GT.

I bought the charging dock, phone slides in perfectly with one hand.

I also went with the Proclip mount you show for my Mustang.

I love Proclip mounts to affix to oem dashes in the best places (for me). For both our Mustang and 2013 Prius, I used Proclip (just the) mounts. To both our cars, I used PanaVise brand:
- Offset tipper #685-OP ($17.99)
https://panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&page=full&--eqskudatarq=169
- PortaGrip Phone Holder ($21.99)
https://panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&page=full&--eqskudatarq=241

I too use a Galaxy S5 (w/ Otterbox commuter case). But since my wife and I have different phones, I like the squeeze to fit style holder. This PortaGrip is sturdy and holding up well for the past year in my wife's Prius.

For me, I wanted the phone mounted to the upper right of steering wheel. The ProClip mount is the best place (for me) to achieve this. The swivel tipper not only allows tippling, obviously, but it moves the phone 3/4" closer to the driver. I love this set up. I removed the antislip tape on the Proclip. That way I can slide the mount left and right if I want it to be closer to me, in between the air vents or even closer to the passenger if my wife wants to adjust music or navigation while we drive.

I got the offset tipper so I could have more ability to decide on what phone height I wanted.

I actually mounted my the top two holes of my tipper to the bottom most holes on the ProClip holder. After running this way a while I'll drill holes for the bottom mtg holes of my tipper just above the bottom bend. But it is actually plenty sturdy just using the top two holes!

I have also been a long time ProClip user. I have had the universal adjustable holder that fits most of the phones out there with a few adjustments. Not a big fan of this location for the 2015 PP but it's not bad. Past locations for other cars have been better. Took a few driving videos the other day so it was cool. Good that my S6 Edge sticks up enough to adjust it for driving videos.

Thanks for sharing.
I love the gauges of my PP. I was wondering if the Proclip can be pushed all the way to the left?
I'll rather have the second vent covered than one of my gauges.

I'll try and remember to check when I get back in town and post some pictures.

wow that pro clip looks great. Ive been using a rocketfish brand holder from best buy, it doesn't the job but certainly doesn't look as clean at the pro clip!
