I know it sucks, but when you find the fix it will be worth it. Race Cars are funny sometimes! Lol

Yeah that's really true too. It's always been something when you turn the wick up, since the beginning.

Put it back to stock, fix problem, then re do. Selling it is just defeat.
Other than the tune being changed, you would think the issue could have been sqaured away with SC on it.

Cars break parts stock, (hence the warranty)
Has a Ford tech that is "cool" with modded cars looked at this?

Blaming the blower kit is pretty unfair considering your the only car to have this issue. (as another stated)

Taking it off to get another blower kit, sounds like a lot of work and $$$, just to "hope" it fixes the issue you are having. (More then the $500, you stated was the difference to run another persons tune)

TELL YOU WHAT: To try and help out.

Have your tuner send us the tune file thats in your car to [email protected] and we can try and make sure there is nothing that "jumps" out to be off, like a calibration miss match, or something.
(also send us your base file, calibration)

I would much rather you see the light at the end of the tunnel here,
Then start pulling parts off and swapping blowers.

I am definitely not blaming the supercharger kit, it is making the boost it should be and functioning just fine. My car clearly has an issue with the IMRC system and just mentioned swapping to a twin screw SC as that would eliminate the IMRC. I haven't taken the car to a mod friendly dealer yet. I will have to see if there is one around.

Evolution Performance is only about 4 hours away, thought about taking it there. My car has be at a place called twisted synergy for the past 2 weeks and they have been trying to find the issue, no luck. Supposed to be picking the car up tomorrow... not sure what that bill would be. Wouldn't have cared what the bill was if they fixed the issue. As far as brining it to EVO, I just don't want to be stuck with another week or two of labor to not fix the issue.

I do have the base tune file and all other revisions that have been sent to me but I am pretty sure Lund locks them and don't believe he will give access to them, could be wrong though. Tuner recommends that I take the car to a different shop.

I do appreciate the help, ProchargerTech.

Well our STG2 and HO tune is rockstar these days, so we have nothing to gain by "seeing" another persons tune. Nor will we ever send a kit with ID1000's.

Just trying to help you out man,

Yea. If it was up to me and you were able to see the tune, I would send it your way in a heart beat. Doesn't hurt to have another set of eyes looking over it.

Is this surging issue affecting all procharger kits with a custom tune? If it is occuring on all kits, how bad is it? I'm getting my stage II kit installed by beefcake and tuned through Lund in a couple weeks. I am just getting paranoid after reading this forum, some of the low power numbers are also troubling. Is it still worth having the kit even with the surging issue? It is a lot of money to be spent and not have it driving well.
