has anyone complained off surging issues from the 11-14 that anyone ever heard off with the PC kits? just curious
Unknown but I know there is a Vortech car running the 11-14 intake as well. And it runs really well.

I have zero surge with boss intake. I think with the 15 manifold and imrc turned off, the surging is still there due to the IMRCs being there. Not sure how but I would imagine that is what is causing it. Like I said, my car has zero surge no matter what rpm or speed the car is at.

Thanks Phil. Now to see if the '15 intakes can be gutted of the IMRCs. I know some of the Audi guys do it as well because on a direct injected car they can be a huge restriction when the carbon starts to build up.

not worth the time, 2011-2014 manifolds can be had for $50. Procharger and Vortech should just say F it, and include it in their kits lol.

LMFAO.

I knew that there were others using an off intake system (Centri/Turbo) and was already running the 11-14 intakes. However the inlet collapsing was a different story.

Where can I get the correct intake manifold that cheap for an 11-14? I'm going to try it. I wonder if the car would even need a retune for the 11-14 manifold vs the 15, except to turn off the imrc in the tune? (Flow wise)

Thanks, just ordered mine. What plastic is Travis at Boostworks talking about trimming, can anyone show a picture? It's going on the minute or gets here. I emailed Lund for a tune for it today, hoping it gets here by Friday. I was going to do suspension parts this weekend but might hold off since my new jack and Spring compressor haven't arrived and might not be here in time. If I have to take the subframe apart I'd rather do it once than two or three times

Lund sent me a tune with a little more timing in it and I think it is all squared away now, as far as not pulling timing. It was adding timing throughout the 3rd gear sweep with revision, about 3 degrees. Good news.

Phil, glad you are getting yours ironed out.

I just received my Lund tune as well. I should be all systems go for the install this weekend. I will try to do the JMS BAP, reservoir, and plugs during the week to help out.

Trim where I've circled in red.. You may have to just barely skim a few other of the smaller ribs, but that's the main part. 10 minutes with a dremel will do the job. Basically, the flanges on the '15 Coyote heads stick out (inward toward the center of the block) because of the IMRC and O-rings, so you have to trim the ribbing on the manifold to clear that. You'll need the 8 O-rings for the manifold if yours doesn't have them. They're like 20 bucks at Ford. Let me know if you need any further help.

Nothing to it. Do yourself a favor and delete your sound tune before the weekend too, and those two bumper bolts that hold the front bumper to the front fender just in front of the wheel Wells. Also get that $16 silicone elbow I linked from eBay and you can one hand your inlet install. Need less than one day total of you get all that out of the way first!

Sound tube is already gone. Look at my build thread. It took me less than 5 mins to remove it. The right tools helps a lot. Already have the hose to.

I will pull those bumper bolts as well this week.

Tapatalk doesn't show me that stuff, never seem to be able to get in front of my pc these days. I'll try to look at your build log tonight though. What did you use, crows foot or something?
