ill look back in this thread gqneon, thanks.

Barrel did you post shots of yours?
I'll grab some pics when I head to my car in a few. I'm pretty sure it's a preproduction unit but I didn't want to run breathers. Shout out to Steve for hooking me up. They should be publicly releasing a kit for PC'ed cars soon.

Well, have been doing some data logging for Lund and everything seems to be going okay drivability wise.

Problem... car is pulling a bunch of timing in the mid range and up. Don't think its fuel relates as I have fresh 93 octane, about 10 gallons, with a full can of torco.

The hood is sitting on the boss intake being that it is so tall. He thinks that the car is pulling timing from all the vibrations the boss intake is making from touching hood.

Guess next step would be to put in dyno to see if it pulls timing with hood up. Car is making about 11-12lbs of boost.

I just bought a 11-14 intake. I am going into the install with it on the car already. Requesting Lund tune the IMRCs out from the get go.

I would assume that contact is causing false knock to be picked up by the sensors.

hi guys i was reading thru the thread and a saw you guys talking about surging. is that when your around 4k rpms and the car starts jerking and you either have to step on the gas or let go for it to stop jerking?

Yes but for most people it's around 3k or when it's going from vacuum to boost.

I would not suggest this I would try to figure it out on road testing. I got knock on the road and it was pulling timing I just put it on the dyno and did not show knock. So I logged it on the street after and the knock is there still.

I went ahead and removed the hood, then took the car out for a WOT pull. Sent the log to lund, will have to wait until tomorrow to see what he says. I am not too sure what I should be looking for on livelink but comparing the runs, hood on/off, they both look similar at WOT.

I am not sure what else would be the issue. The car isn't making too much boost. Only went to 6100 rpms and at that point I had around 9lbs of boost. I have 10 gallons of 93 octane and 1 can of torco in the tank. I do have what seems to be an exhaust leak where the cat delete was welded to the manifold on driver side. Lund says that he hasn't seen a car pull timing for an exhaust leak though.

Hopefully there will be some good news about it tomorrow.

Look at your knock it should be - or 0.00 if it's like 2.00 etc it's still pulling timing

From lund about log with hood off.

Still has knock. Something else is causing NVH or you have extreme oil blow by from PCV causing effective octane to drop regardless of the octane in the tank. You have a separator on the PCV?

I have the passenger side pcv system plumbed to stock location on the moss manifold and then I have driver side with just a breather.

Haven't checked it yet. Will probably give it a look in another 500 or so miles.

Wow, wait, you have a line from the manifold to the pcv?? That's creating a boost leak right into the engine.
