Just during idle

But that's the thing it didn't do that before . And and it's had all the same stuff on there that was on There beforeI am the same as z06 the lines are cool, but not helpful. If you are tossing belts you are either not tight enough (that's what's she said) or pulley alignment is off. Maybe you have the wrong pulley spacer?
Did you ever adjust the belt after the first couple hundred miles? Unfortunately, i am a total noob, so initially lined up to the first Mark as per instructions. After a few hundred miles tightened it down a little more.
Yeah I've grabbed everything and nothing seems to have any play and they all seem to spin freely . When I disconnect everything and start the car no sound. Soon as the belt is put back on the noise starts again. Brand new belt BTWHow do the idler pulleys when u spin them by hand, also grab each pulley and see if it has any play in it when u try to move it side to side.Should spin with no grumble and have very very little to no play.
Yeah I didn't know how else to describe it... But I'm not the only one with issue ... Another guy I'll post his video up does the exact same thing.I know this thread says "squeak"
But that video sounds literally nothing like a squeak.
Sounds like you got something dragging on something.
Out of the boat loads of kits out there, never heard anything like that.
I would take your belt off, and start rotating things by hand and see what you got dragging.
yes, it comes with an idler spacer (you install that during the install)Is the idler pulley above the crank supposed to have a very tiny gap behind it. So it's not completely against the factory pulley
We'll see here's the thing nothing has changed since it was installed... Car had around 5k on it with blower and never made a sound . I recently started getting a grinding sound outta nowhere. Sent the head unit in to procharger they said it was fine. I call and explain but not much help.. upon inspection putting headunit back on I noticed , the bolt that goes Into the tensioner that holds the wheel on was completely backed out against the bracket to where the tensioner wasn't able to flex up and down. Took off and replaced the bolt so tensioner moved normally now but sound still persist. Could that old problem have caused one of the idlers to where out?yes, it comes with an idler spacer (you install that during the install)
And it keeps them from touching.
If you flip the one the wrong way, I could see issues happening.
Cause the factory pulley is offset if memory serves correctly.
Run it. Quit worrying about noises. I am so glad I went the Roush S/CMy ProCharger recently started making a very loud squeaking sound sent head unit into ProCharger to be replaced they told me head unit was perfectly fine inspected my entire unit and everything even put on Old pulley and it's still makes this annoying sound there are another few cars in my area with the same issue didn't arrive until after a few thousand miles someone please help if this has been an issue before
Lol I love my ProCharger but staying to think I should have went vmp ... But from what I'm told they all have issues no matter what blowerRun it. Quit worrying about noises. I am so glad I went the Roush S/C
