PROCHARGER QURSTION

bought a procharger setup lund is telling me to make sure i adjust the boost below 10 psi
kit is a stage two with 3.9 pulley and tial wastegate bov im new to prochargers well superchargers all together
how do i adjust the boost do i need a diff pulley or can i do it through my waste gate

What head unit? A 3.9 on stage II will make way over 10 psi. You need to set your wastegate to 10 psi or less. Does the wastegate have a controller, or just spring pressure?

Then you need to determine what springs are in it. Typically a combination of springs for a total value. Then replace them with the combo that nets 10 if that's not what is in there already.

bought the kit second had guy was running 12 to 13 psi an d is sending me all the spring that came with it so got it change springs

I think I know where you got the kit, I was eyeing it. From what I have heard, you're probably going to see about 1 psi higher than what you spring for so if you spring at 10 psi you will probably see around 11 peak.

SO SENT PSI TO 9 SO I PEAK 10 and im sure same kit u were eye balling

Right. I'd start with springs equaling 9 psi and adjust if you need to, but I think that would probably be about where you want to be. You'll be happy with that setup for sure.

hey i see in your sign you arent running opg or cg how long have you been boosted for

About 5k miles, I DD it. Some others on here have been boosted for longer or at higher power levels and are on stock OPG/CS. It varies depending on who you ask. If you have the money and a shop to get it done at I would go ahead and do it, but I have no shop around here that I'd trust to do it and it's a little much for me.

yeah most shops around here want 1500 i work for a gm dealer so a tech will do it for 800 here but they dont touch fords so yeah fyi if you ever need gm/hyundai/kia parts let me know im in wholesale parts for those brands
