here's another question:
I know HP numbers are not the primary goal here but i'm just trying to get an idea of where i might be at with this setup...

any ballpark ideas after looking at the log?

Ok that’s good to know...
Like I said before I’d really like to learn this side of engine building.. I’m pretty good with the mechanical stuff but when it comes to the tune and digital control stuff I’m clueless.

Do you have any place you’d recommend going to learn? Books, websites, online schools? How have you guys learned?
ASE line tech for 5 years, hobby performance junky, part of a drag race team/shop.

I think it's HP tuning that has some tuning classes sort of deal if you really want to jump in the deep end of understanding tuning. High performance academy also has some useful tuning and building stuff, but it's not cheap.

Based on the load I'd say around 775-800 at the engine, 700ish to the ground.

Good tune, and good reliable E85, without thrashing it too terribly hard and often it will live a long time at that level.

Greg Banish also has a couple good books you can probably find on Amazon.

Also shooting for 12-13psi soon as the weather breaks. Just finishing up my Fore dual pump to run E85.

Good to hear... I hope so.

Related to that,
I’m currently just running amsoil ss 5w-20. Now that I’ve upped the power level, do you think I should step up the weight just a bit? Or should I be good at 5/20?

You'll get 10 different answers to that question.... IMO I would stick with 5-20. I ran exactly that amsoil SS 5-20 in mine, and had flawless oil reports.

5-30, or 5-50 or whatever is recommended for track use, IE circuit track. Horsepower has not a damn thing to do with oil requirements. Clearances, and heat do. The engine was designed for 5-20, and only call for 5-50 under extreme heat, and high rpm sustained in circuit race track. It takes a long time to get the oil to "high" temperatures where higher viscosity would be needed.

Honestly that’s he best answer I’ve heard on the matter. That has always been my thinking...heat is the major factor in viscosity selection... but you hear so many opposing opinions online, and everyone is so fully convinced of their view.

On a related note:
A seriously great side benefit I’d heard about but only recently experienced with e85 is the temps. Everything is running as cool or cooler than it did at 7lbs on gas. Pretty great

So I ran the 3.4 when I had my HO setup. Had pro-flo on it and saw 13 psi. Couple of things to check.
Take the pro flow off and test it. Just a simple diaphragm in it. Probably ok but worth a check.
More than likely it is the belt or the tensioner. I know when talking to Procharger that the factory tensioners are not all created equally.
Some will hold up to extreme tightening and other wont.
With the 3.4 I had to tighten the sh@t out of it and went with the green rpm belt.
Normally you would want to have just under a 90 degree twist of the belt. Mine was more like a 45 degree twist.
This is the EXACT reason I upgraded to the stage 2 kit.

So did you have to bottom out the factory tensioner? I left about a 1/2” of movement on the tensioner since it was recommended by procharger. I’ve been cautious about putting too much tension on the belt...

The only thing though is that I feel like belt slip would be pretty obvious on the log...
I may try tinkering with bov just to double confirm that everything is good

if any of you are interested or want to take a look... I got a revision back from Lund. He took a look at the last log and said fueling needed to be adjusted like you said. I notice on the log from this revised tune it’s not adding as much timing and maybe not making quite as much boost.
I’m sure it’s all good... honestly I just like hearing your guys’ thoughts... it helping me begin to comprehend the tuning process a bit more.

Here’s the log:
