Guys / Gals

I had a friend complain that he was making low boost, and I was like
"Hey man, there's no way... we have the same blower, same tune, same pulley, the same city"

I told him to check the basics like a loose clamp, etc.
Of course, he was like "dude I checked everything"

So I put it on the lift, and checked the valve first thing.
And here is what I found....

The bypass valve was stuffed into the frame and couldn't function correctly.
All it took was rotating it the other direction, and all is well.

Sometimes its the little things..

I can't really tell from the photo. Is the linkage that opens and closes the valve just hitting the front bumper or what?

I wish it was that simple with mine. Still low boost and no explanation. I now have a PBD tune and the car is revving out more than the procharger tune did and I picked up 1 psi (5 psi total), and still not hitting the advertised 6.5 psi.

Ya it was slammed up against it tight. So it couldn't fully close. (id say it closed about halfway)

I see In your sig you have a very free breathing exhaust. With less exhaust restriction you will actually see less boost pressure. While you might only be making 5 psi. You could very well be making just as much power as the guy with stock exhaust making 6.5psi. Pulley down if you really want to make the psi number.

Exhaust happened after the low boost, it just didn't help it :)
