I went on Saturday at Tulsa raceway. About 70 degrees, full weight premium gt pp with 3/4 full tank and about 50 lbs of crap in the trunk. I'm guessing 3900+lbs I weigh 190lbs...managed a few 12.9s @121. 7 to 8 psi.
91 octane pump
Mods, p1sc1, dss driveshaft, pro kit springs, procharger bullet bypass valve.
The car spun through the first three gears with full traction control on. Using 315 35 20 invos on velgens vmb5. Trap speed is ok, I was expecting more around 125 though. Maybe with a shifter and more passes will get better.
A few questions though for the experienced supercharger guys. This is my first supercharger so it's a tad different from turbos from which I'm very seasoned with.
Anyways, on the back of my stock procharger HO pulley I see belt dust. Is that normal? I have the slack in the belt where I can turn the belt 90 degrees with two fingers. Should I tighten it more?
Also besides tires or drag wheels the goal was 650/700 rwhp. would it be easier to reach that goal with more fuel better tune smaller pulley, etc, or jumping up to the d1sc .....?
