Don't worry about breaking the half shafts. I ran Nitto 555Rs on my 2011 Camaro with no issues many times. If Chevy axles can take it you should be fine in a Ford.

I switched out my p-zero to MPSS and went from regular 2.2/2.3 60' to 1.8/1.9 all the time. Well worth the money if you don't want a set of dr's.

I was a bit disapointed. My pony came with 235/50/18 pirellis from the factory.

1/8 9.061
MPH 83.33
1000 11.56
1/4 13.670
mph 107.81

Any suggestions? My mph seemed consistant at 107 seems low?

I tried launch control on/off. I tried traction control and advance control on/off. I tried from idle and slipping clutch.

Are drag radials the solution? Any advice is welcome.

Mods were FR Xpipe and BAMA 93 race tune. M6 3.31's:tsk:

Hey Ruby - I would say get out there a few more times before digging into tires. While they may help I think the times could be improved slightly! It's like riding a bike and you're definitely going to get into a rhythm. Let me know if there's anything I can help out with in the meantime.

What is the best way to launch these cars and rpm to shift?

Rubyred, I take it you did not try the nitrous at the track?

I tried it once part of third and fourth gear. Pick up 118.9mph on the 125 shot.

I just put in an order for 285/35/19 MPSS tires on the rear and 245's for the front.

That's what I'm running until I order my wheels. They look a little small in the well, but the extra grip is nice.

285's look small? I have a set of staggered niche wheels on order with them. I think 285 is the largest they for for 19's. How well do they stick?

I'm talking about the 35 profile.

Traction is much better than stock.
