I was a bit disapointed. My pony came with 235/50/18 pirellis from the factory.

Kearney Raceway Park Density Altitude: 3906 feet
Relative Density: 89.06 %
2105 Elevation

60ft 2.33
330 6.069
1/8 9.061
MPH 83.33
1000 11.56
1/4 13.670
mph 107.81

Any suggestions? My mph seemed consistant at 107 seems low?

I tried launch control on/off. I tried traction control and advance control on/off. I tried from idle and slipping clutch.

Are drag radials the solution? Any advice is welcome.

Mods were FR Xpipe and BAMA 93 race tune. M6 3.31's:tsk:

Your 60' is definitely holding back your ET, but your low MPH is really being killed by the DA. I'd datalog that tune and send it back to BAMA for revisions.

Yea I logged the tune the rep from bama said it was dialed in correctly already. They aren't very good with communication. I know some tires will help. I am a bit nervious about the half shafts but would liek to order NT05rs.

Here is the correct time with the DA site.
13.017 @ 113.064 MPH

Post your datalog here and I'll give it a look. I'm not a professional tuner but I've learned quite a bit reading logs.

113mph is pretty good for MPH. You need to get your 60' under 2.0 and you'll be in the 12's, corrected for DA. Nearly 4,000 feet is really bad air.

Yea it was 80 some percent humidity that day. What is your take on tire suggestion? Street tire replacement with a bit more bit or DR's?

If you're going to hit the strip more often I'd upgrade the axle shafts and get 17" slicks or radials on a dedicated drag setup. That's the only way you'll get the maximum out of the car. With street tires you can certainly improve your launch technique but you won't put up awesome numbers on the board.

I've done a 1.88 60' on OEM Pirelli 255 summer tires with my 2011 5.0 but that was a top level prepped track(MIR) and I haven't been able to match it. I can do mid 1.9x with my current Continental DW 275 tires on somewhat prepped tracks but it is very inconsistent. Street tires just don't work very well at the drag strip.

There really isn't a good compromise tire. Drag radials are made of a different more sticky compound then street tires. With a drag radial your sixty will most likely be in the 1.7 range. I had P-zeros on my 2011 Camaro SS and had no problem at all hitting consistent 1.9 sixtys. But that's as good as it gets on street tires.

a 2.3 60' says it all, need to get down to 1.9-2 on street tires, if on DR then look for 1.6-1.8s

I don't think the 235's are capable of 1.9 or are they haha
