Old tune with 9 PSI at 6800 550 HP and 469 TQ , running out of fuel at 6800 ... Shift point was set to 6800 to be safe ..
New tune with ID1000 injectors and a JMS Bap 604 HP and 562 TQ ... Power flat lines at 7000 to 7400.. We didn't take it higher than 7400 . Shift point are now set at 7300 ..
This is a A6 car so numbers will be down a little from a M6 car on the dyno ..
So I picked up 54 HP and a whopping 93 foot pounds of TQ ..
we ended up with 18 deg timing total at full boost ... Extra TQ came from more timing and setting the TQ command in the mid range .. Even at 18 on pump gas it was not pulling timing but my tuner didn't want to push it any more on pump gas ..
Later this year he is going to make me a E85 tune , he feels it will add a bunch more HP over the pump gas .. He would like me to dump the BAP , he said he has seen to many burned up pumps for the BAP ..He wants me to add a Fore fuel system .. He also want me to toss the cats , he felt there was an extra 30+ HP by dumping the cats ..
I was warned about slow starts with the ID1000 injectors and sure as shit it is a little slow to start ..Hot start is not to bad but cold start is a little iffy .. I guess I'll just have to get used to it ..
Well back to the track and see what it runs now
