I've never lost to a paxton car on the street and that's with a smaller p1 and d1 head unit :headbang: I'm sure if it were you on and on track it would be a different outcome. Also I've seen paxton cars that have the same flatline in the higher rpm's.
Yeah i dont think you'd want it on the street either. Lol

Dude really hates prochargers for some reason
I had a procharger kit on my 2011 5.0 before I went with a hellion TT kit. They sent me three blowers and they all leaked. Biggest headache ive ever had with any forced induction kit ive owned. Damn Proleakers

Honestly, have never been to the track in either of my pc cars. My car is my daily driver and I haven't had the desire to take it to the track especially with the weak half shafts. Car is also a manual so more is needed to get this thing to stick without breaking stuff. I have gotten in some good runs on the street with some pretty fast cars which makes me happy. At the end of the day, both are good kits that make great power.

Towing has nothing to do with it.
High piston load, with low RPM = hard hard hard on things.

There is a reason why you literally CAN NOT floor a new GM until 3,000rpm.
They are hard coded not to allow WOT until then. ;)
Glad I don't have a POS GM. I did not know this.

My base PC tune runs with no issues whatsoever, but I'm wondering if you think a Lund tune will benefit me as far as power=faster? I'm trying to decide if to spend $500 on a tune or buy some suspension goodies.

I guess that's understandable. That's terrible luck, that by no means resembles their actual reliability. The Paxton is a badass blower incredibly well priced, just minor details pushed me away from it. I think only the D1X will be able to, flow wise, compete with the Paxton. All others are smaller.

I agree!!

What ET is OP predicting?
Im not sure what it will run, last season ran into a couple problems,1 clutch starting slipping .Also had a blown out collector gasket that messed my a/f up,but all the little things are worked out now.Betting on low 10's and that a 4160 pound car on drag radials. Also have my weight slip, funny how guys clam what their car weighs but dont post anything for proof.Fully loaded car,not ONE thing taken out or off the car.

Oh yea that a fair race,e85 car against a 93 oct car, sounds just like the kids at the carwash tryin tryin to explain why their stripped out car is still an equal race lol.
