Procal Tuning Question

Hey everyone,

I currently have the power pack 2 kit installed on my GT. Other than that and a catback exhaust I'm stock. I've been considering getting headers, larger injectors and running E85. I know that heads and E85 require a new tune. My question is can I use my Procal tuner to flash a new tune for the headers and e85 or would I need a new handheld tuner? I'm new to tuning as I've only bought ots tunes before.

You would need to choose a tuner and purchase whatever device they prefer to use. Also going to e85 on a Gen 1 or 2 will require at least an lu47 injector. Plus your gas mileage will jump off a cliff. Expect 8-12 mpg depending on how you drive. As far as Tuners go the two big ones are Lund and palm beach dyno. I am tuned by Ortiz performance down here in TX and I'm happy.

Been there, done that. The procal tune is proprietary and the only device/software that can access it is HP tuners. You can use the procal to go back to stock and have a local tuner write you a custom tune for what you want using whatever device you choose, but if you stay with the ford racing/procal tune you will need an HP device to modify it.
