Question about Forscan and Tuning

Hi everyone, so yes i have read the forums about resetting the adaptive learning or disabling is majority of us 10 spd owners have the same issue. However my ECU and TCM is both tuned by HP tuners. I want to get forscan to reset my adaptive learning (if it isn’t already). the trans is also tuned in both D and S to launch from 2nd gear. the question i have is will resetting or disabling the adaptive learning mess up the current tune myself or am i good to go ahead and try disabling it?
